This exterior renovation reimagines a dated 1960s home into a Scandinavian-inspired modern residence—without changing the footprint. Located on Mercer Island, the home belongs to a small family who loved their neighborhood but wanted stronger curb appeal. Studio Kamppari focused on updating the home's character and warmth through natural cedar siding, dark metal accents, and a new roof overhang that adds both function and architectural balance. The result is a refined, modern look that enhances the home’s street presence while staying true to its Pacific Northwest roots.
