Ballard Bath
Attic Addition: Thoughtfully Detailed Compact Bathroom
In this small Ballard home, a previously unused attic was transformed into a light-filled upstairs bathroom for a young family. Working within a tight footprint, we carved out distinct zones: a private toilet nook, a functional vanity with built-in shelving, and a soaking tub beneath a large operable window. The palette is clean and timeless—durable Italian porcelain tile, matte white subway tile, walnut cabinetry, and quartz countertops. These elements come together to create a bright, peaceful space that feels larger than its square footage. Thoughtfully detailed and full of natural light, this modest bathroom now serves the family’s daily routines with style and efficiency.
